On October 29, 1963 Special Forces officer James Rowe was captured after a firefight. He would spend over five years living in a bamboo cage, until fortune smiled on him, and he made his daring escape on December 31, 1968. His experiences saw him create the military SERE School (Survive, Escape, Resist, Evade). His amazing story was published as his autobiography, Five Years to Freedom, and we plan on bringing his story to the screen.

Singh (a Sergeant at the time) led a small artillery battery in Burma, that soon became a fight to the death as 25 Indian artillerymen held off over 400 Japanese infantry. After a two-day fight, out of shells, out of ammunition, and several Banzai suicide charges, Singh and two other men were the only soldiers left alive.
